Field of Dreams

We signed Ethan up for baseball, even though he was skeptical he wouldn't like it. After buying him a ball, glove, and bat, Chris took him in back for some practice. He does not like learning anything from us and resists any advice we give him. After a few minutes of playing catch, he got the hang of it and really liked it. Then when we got to bat, he was a natural. He hit anything and everything....and me twice when I was pitching. He starts on June 1 and I know he's going to have so much fun. -RL
Grammy and Boppa Dale came to deliver the piano and play a little baseball with the kid.
This the stance and look I get when I offer advice. It's hard not to laugh, but laughter gets an even more severe look.

This was right after the previous picture. He's still trying to look mad, but this was his first catch, so he really wants to smile and be proud of himself.

When you see him in the major leagues, he'll be known for this signature batting face. Tongue out to one side; he does it every time.
